CERTIFIED DANCE INSTRUCTOR

I have always enjoyed
dancing. As many young girls do, I started taking jazz and ballet.
Then, when I was attending Emerson College I tried a class at Arthur
Murray and got hooked on ballroom dancing. I continued on to pursue
a degree in public relations and business management. My degree
led to a job at a consulting firm, all the while, dancing as a hobby.
After a life of trying different career paths I realized I was always
going back to dancing. I decided to make dancing my life’s
work. I obtained certification through the DVIDA program (dance
vision international dance association) which is recognized by the
national dance council of America. I taught in Nantucket and Boston
before moving to the Newport area. I now continue to learn and teach
independently.
